Vacationing in the east for many years contributed to my love of the colonial style, along with decorating and restoring our 1850’s stone house. Through my love of decorating and rug hooking, Cottage House Primitives was born in 2006. It is true what they say – if you build it – they will come!
Over the past 11 years we have grown literally through the walls into the building next door!
The rug hooking studio has grown from a small cupboard full of wool to half of our original building. We offer beginning classes, and welcome anyone interested in joining us on Wednesdays for open hooking. Come in and share what you are working on and get inspired by a great group of talented hookers.
We look forward to many more years of sharing new treasures with all of you. Our website is a small sampling of what’s in store if you visit the shop. Our wonderful handmade goods and our antique selection change daily, so visit often. If you can’t come to the shop, we appreciate your visiting our site!
