Being at home can have it's perks.  You have some extra time to do the projects you want as well as finding time to hop on video calls and catch up with your friends.  Some folks are having virtual cocktail parties where you bring your own drink and appetizers.

This recipe fits into both of those categories.  Treat yourself well and make your own bitters to create fabulous cocktails. After all, a good cocktail actually has a real, honest-to-goodness drink recipe attached to it.  Then, you can hop on your video cocktail party while enjoying the literal fruits of your labor.

  • High Proof Whiskey (such as 101- Proof Wild Turkey)
  • Oranges
  • Dried Orange Peel (slice and dice thinly and dry in oven at 200 for 30 minutes)
  • Dried Lemon Peel (slice and dice thinly and dry in oven at 200 for 30 minutes)
